Rob Steele who got his proverbial ass handed to him last November by Congressman John Dingell has now turned his Quixotic sights on Senator Debbie Stabenow.
His statement, released by his group “The Steeleworkers”, goes like this:
“I am seriously considering a run for the U.S. Senate because Michigan needs someone in Washington to fight for taxpayers and get spending under control. In her long political career, Debbie Stabenow has consistently voted for more spending and higher taxes. We can’t afford this, and our children and grandchildren deserve better.I greatly appreciate the invitations to speak and the encouragement to run that I have received from grassroots activists throughout the state. During the coming weeks and months, I will continue to travel Michigan, and I look forward to discussing the future of our country and state. I will make a formal announcement of my decision prior to the fall Michigan Republican Mackinac Conference.”

This may well be the best thing to ever happen to Debbie Stabenow’s Senate campaign.
By the way, the actual United Steelworkers Union hates this guy.
