If Barack Obama got caught doing something like this with the American flag, the heavens themselves would come crashing down on him and the endless ranting and raving on every talk show, radio show, news report, magazine article, blog and political commentary from the conservative right would be deafening. We just kind of expect it and ignore it when W. does it.
