Earlier today, 20-something gunman Jared Lee Loughner shot Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in the head at point blank range
She is in critical condition but is expected to survive. Among the six dead from the shooting are a 9 year-old girl and Federal Court judge John Roll. 18 people in total were shot.
Judson Phillips of the Tea Party Nation has this to say:
At a time like this, it is terrible that we do have to think about politics, but no matter what the shooter’s motivations where, the left is going to blame this on the Tea Party Movement. Already on liberal websites, the far left is trying to accuse the Tea Party of being involved.While we need to take a moment to extend our sympathies to the families of those who died, we cannot allow the hard left to do what it tried to do in 1995 after the Oklahoma City bombing.
Hmmm…I wonder why anyone would accuse the Tea Party of being involved?
Could it be because one of their favorite candidates, Sharron Angle of Nevada referred repeatedly to the need for “Second Amendment remedies” if teabaggers didn’t get their way at the polls last November?
Could it be because their supporters carry signs like these?
Could it be because the queen of their movement put crosshairs on the members of Congress that she didn’t like including three from Arizona — INCLUDING GABRIELLE GIFFORDS???
Yes. Yes it could be. In fact it’s likely. So don’t be so surprised that your violent, gun-toting, anti-liberal roosters have come home to roost, have killed innocent people and injured others, and have people pointing their fingers directly in your direction.
