All eyes are on Texas
My pals at Burnt Orange Report have published a new website where you can follow all of the goings-on in Texas in the Republican’s War on Women. It’s called STAND WITH TEXAS WOMEN.
Here’s their announcement:
Hey friends —Burnt Orange Report has launched our Stand With Texas Women page to serve as a central hub for information and progressive coverage of the second special session.
We will cover today’s “Stand With Texas Women” rally scheduled for 12pm Texas time, as well as the afternoon of activist trainings that will follow. We should also have a reporter in the Capitol gallery, and will be updating a live-blog throughout the day with photos, tweets, and reporting from the Capitol grounds.
The link to today’s liveblog is here.
Our live-blog coverage will continue every day that there’s something to report in real-time. We will also continue to publish posts on the blog covering this story in depth as it develops, and will archive them on this page.
We have already added key social media links and an archive of all of our stories on this to date. We will be adding more helpful information about the bills as they are filed and move through the legislative process.
Again, here’s the one main link to all of our coverage — http://www.burntorangereport.com/page/STANDWITHTEXASWOMEN
It’s critical that we keep the pressure on the regressive conservatives in Texas and elsewhere as they attempt to roll back the clock and set women’s reproductive freedom back several decades. Burnt Orange Report is on the scene and will keep you informed. Check it out!
