One big happy
One of the most gratifying things about Eclectablog for me is how many of you are regular readers and, in your own ways, contributors. For example, in the past six months, Eclectablog has had over 625,000 visits from about 445,000 visitors. That means many of you are regular visitors, checking in once a day, once a week, once a month. Significant numbers of folks are regular commenters, share our content on Facebook, interact with us and share our links on Twitter, and submit our stuff to Reddit. Just as importantly, many of you submit ideas for posts and news items we might not have heard about otherwise.
In other words, instead of being just us writing stuff for you to read, over time, our readers have become part of the equation and that is exciting. We don’t always agree with each other, of course, but, except for the occasional comment troll, people are pretty respectful of each other even when they are not in agreement.
We hope that you value this sense of community and family that has grown at Eclectablog and are willing to make a financial contribution to help support the writers who are providing the platform for our community to interact and the content that we share and debate and learn from.
There are three ways you can do that:
First, you can make your donation using the PayPal link below. You can change the amount if you wish.
[donateplus]
Or you can wait until the TinyPass pop-up pops up (every tenth click on the site) and donate that way. If you do that, the popups will go away as long as you have cookies enabled. Again, the default amounts for annual or monthly donations can be adjusted to whatever you wish them to be.
Finally, if you would prefer to send a check, send me an email and I’ll give you the address.
If you cannot afford to support us financially, you can still help. Please share our content on your Facebook page or other social media like Twitter, Reddit, etc. Put a “Like” on our Facebook page and click the “Invite friends” button and encourage your friends to like us, too.
Thanks so much,
Chris, Anne, LOLGOP, and Amy
