You will know them by the friends they keep
Florida Congressman Trey Radel announced yesterday that he’s “taking a leave of absence” after being busted earlier in the week for buying cocaine from undercover police officers.
Radel is a supreme hypocrite. Earlier this year he voted for legislation that would require anyone receiving food stamps to be drug tested. No government handouts for him!
As it turns out, there’s a Michigan connection between Congressman and Hypocrite Trey Radel. In October of last year, he gave a campaign contribution of $2,000 to our very own 1st District Congressman Dan Benishek who won the seat a week later by the tiniest of margins.
Perhaps Dr. Benishek could repay the favor by helping Trey Radel deal with his drug and alcohol addiction. Seems to me he owes him a solid.
