Get your panel on!
As I have mentioned before the amazing Netroots Nation conference is coming to Detroit this summer (July 17-20). I was honored to be asked to announce it the 2013 Netroots Nation conference in San Jose last year and I absolutely could not be more excited.
If you are interested in putting together a panel for Netroots Nation this year — and if you’re a Michigan progressive activist you DO want to, right?! — the deadline is fast approaching. In fact, the deadline is next week, Wednesday, February 19th, 2014.
A couple of tips for panel submissions: Make it educational. In other words, help people be more effective progressives. Also, when you are choosing panelists, be diverse. Netroots Nation is attended by people from all walks of life and the panels should be as diverse as the audience to ensure we’re speaking to everyone.
