Are you willing to be thrown under the bus by the Michigan Republican Party if you get busted doing any of this stuff, possibly ending any chance at a career in politics?

The Michigan Republican Party is currently looking for Interns!Successful applicants will have the opportunity to witness and learn the inner-workings of the Michigan Republican Party at our office headquarters in Lansing, work out of our other regional office locations, meet elected officials, attend special “behind-the-scene” events, and more.
This opportunity is not exclusively reserved for those interested in a career in politics, but also for those looking to expand their experience in the day-to-day operations of a business. Applications are currently being accepted in areas of operations, communications, research, finance, and political grassroots outreach. Applications are also being accepted for technical areas such as graphic design, digital media, information technology, and database support.
Duties of an intern can include but are not limited to:
- Writing scripts and press releases and updating online communications
- Planning and staffing party events
- Engaging in information research and database upkeep
- Implementing grassroots strategies
- And more!
Due to the variety of opportunities within the Michigan Republican Party, a successful applicant can look forward to working with the internship coordinator to best match his or her job skills, interests, and ambitions with the duties and projects available. Both full-time and part-time internships are available.
