It’s been a bit of a rough go with the fundraiser this year. As of last night we were down $5,000 in sponsorships from last year. And I was hoping to be significantly UP from last year so that we could upgrade our podcast equipment. But, as I told one of our sponsors, our opponents are legion and highly effective. They have largely achieved the goal they set out for decades ago: kneecap the progressive allies who support Democrats in order to take away their source of funding and other resources. That’s the reality we live in today and one of the key reasons why I believe this website is so critical.

But, of course, the party is ON! As you know, we will be doing a live recording of our podcast The Sit and Spin Room with LOLGOP & Eclectablog. Our very special guests will be Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and former Dean of the House/current Dean of Twitter, John Dingell. As we have in our previous three fundraisers, we’re also giving everyone who attends one of our “Eclectagrog” beer glasses. This year’s version – seen there on the right – is our best one yet, in my opinion. We’ll also have a raffle of some great items including some of Anne’s amazing photos and a full set of four Eclectagrog glasses:
And, of course, free food and free beer.
