It is sooooo good to be the king[‘s bankers].
For example, you can get a handout from the tax-payers of America to the tune of $154 BILLION and turn around and give your execs $504 MILLION in bonuses. Now that is sweet, you have to admit. That’s what you can do if you’re AIG, for example.
And why can you do this? Because the overseer, “bailout czar” Neil Kashkari, let’s you do it.
Well, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) thinks this is bullshit. And he told Kashkari that to his face. Watch it and laugh. And cry.
Yes, the travesty of the Bush Administration just keeps rolling along, doesn’t it?
I’m sure the Republicans will find some way to blame Obama for this. It is, afterall, the Obama Recession we’re in right now, right?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: January 20, 2009 simply can NOT come fast enough for this country’s well-being.
