Rick Snyder gets right to it

by

Rick Snyder is already on the job reinventing Michigan and stuff. How else do you explain THIS?

LG Chem to build new electrolyte production plant in Holland, Michigan
Governor-elect Rick Snyder Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced that LG Chem, the South Korea-based advanced battery manufacturer with operations in Michigan, will establish a new electrolyte production plant in Holland, Michigan, expanding the state’s battery supply chain.

The new electrolyte production plant will be located near LG Chem’s $303 million battery cell plant in Holland which is under construction. The 600,000 square-foot battery cell plant is expected to be fully operational in 2012 with up to 400 employees.

Look at that! Not even a week on the job as Governor-elect and he’s already bringing clean energy jobs to Michigan. I’m sure this had nothing to do with the policies of the Granholm administration. It couldn’t possibly have anything to do with her tireless efforts to bring new clean energy-related jobs to our state in an intensive program to diversify our economy. I feel positively certain that Granholm’s indefatigable crusade to draw high-tech, green collar job-producing companies and their suppliers to Michigan had absolutely NOTHING to do with this.

Nope, it’s all about Rick Snyder’s 10-point plan. Hell, Point #1 is “Create More and Better Jobs”. Did you ever see a point like that on anything Jennifer Granholm ever did? Uh-huh. That’s what I thought.

Thanks, Rick! Man, I was just so wrong about you.

I’m just sayin’…
