Find out which companies in your area are exporting jobs, laying off workers, endangering workers’ health or involved in cases of violations of workers’ rights. The database contains information on more than 400,000 companies nationwide.

We’re looking for innovative ways to increase public awareness of the laws enforced by DOL to ensure fair and safe workplaces. The challenge is to utilize inspection and compliance information from the hotel, motel, restaurant and retail industries to help workers and consumers take educated action.Applications that best satisfy the competition criteria may receive cash prizes up to $15,000 for the first prize winner. Contestants are encouraged to combine DOL data with other publicly accessible data feeds from around the web, and to be creative in exploring approaches for realizing the goals.
