UPDATED: Sarah Palin to stump for Trump in two Michigan towns with a combined population of 15,083

by

Sarah Palin must be freaking out that she’s not in the news this election cycle. According to Breitbart.com, she’s “going rogue in Michigan”. And, sure enough, she’s coming to Alpena (population 10,295) and Cheboygan (population 4,788) today.

Former Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin is making a stop in Northern Michigan to campaign for Donald Trump.

The Cheboygan County Republican’s announced on Facebook that Palin will visit their headquarters in Cheboygan at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

She will also hold a rally in Alpena at 11:30 a.m. at the GOP’s headquarters in the city.

In contrast, Michigan will also be visited by President Barack Obama in Ann Arbor tomorrow, President Bill Clinton in Lansing today, and Hillary Clinton herself in Grand Rapids tomorrow.

Just to give you a sense of how few people live in Alpena and Cheboygan, the University of Michigan stadium could hold seven times the total population of both cities and still have empty seats. Basically it’s the number of people left in the stadium an hour after a Wolverine football game has ended, the people looking for their wallets or too drunk to get out of their seats.

But never let anyone tell you Michigan doesn’t have a significant role to play in this year’s election. If you haven’t signed up to help get out the vote, get thee to HillaryClinton.com/GOTV and sign up. There’s plenty of time for you to make a difference (unlike Ms. Palin.)

UPDATE: Ahead of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s visit to Michigan to campaign for Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump, Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum released this statement highlighting why Donald Trump lacks the judgement to be President of the United States:

Donald Trump’s campaign has been all about dividing Americans with hateful rhetoric and Sarah Palin is cut from the same cloth. Donald Trump is proving yet again that he lacks the temperament and judgement to be President of the United States and cannot be trusted with the nuclear codes.
