Working America Health Care has got you covered — before, during and after enrollment

If you haven’t signed up for health insurance yet, this program is a great way to go. The clock is ticking on 2015 open enrollment for health insurance. With the February 15th deadline approaching fast, the time to act is now if you’re not already covered. But getting health insurance is only the beginning. Then you have to put your […]

Working America unveils “FixMyJob.com”, an online tool for workers to get help

Working America is the largest coalition of non-union workers in the country. In fact, although it is a project of the AFL-CIO union membership precludes you from being a Working America member yet their ranks are swelling. This week, my pals at Working America unveiled a new website called FixMyJob.com. The site is simple to use; a series of screens […]

Governor Snyder takes sides on Right to Work for Less — It’s now “on the table”

Governor Snyder takes sides on Right to Work for Less — It’s now “on the table”

And the winner is… the anti-Labor conservatives

NOTE: This is an abbreviated version of a post I published at the AFL-CIO NOW blog. Click HERE to read the whole piece.

More details after the jump.

You are NOT alone!

Working America, the 3-million strong group supporting American workers (not just unionized workers — ALL workers), has introduced a new website called “Dear David”. In today’s work environment, it’s often tough to know what your rights are as a worker and it’s even tougher to know where to turn to get answers to those questions.

“Dear David” is intended to change that. Details after the jump.
